A Band Touched by God.

What a blessing we had last night, we had the Parfitt young men with us down on Queen Street last evening passing out tracts and sharing the gospel, but then most of our University Bible Study group came down the street and joined us.  As I considered the blessing of being able to see this group of young people serving the Lord with their whole hearts, I was encouraged that the next generation has some champions of the Gospel.

This small band of young Christians were from 13 to 22 years of age and each of them has a love for the Saviour that showed.  It showed in their speech and their work and also in their willingness to suffer rejection and mocking.  I realize that God has done a work to bless my soul, I could never have recruited a group so filled with love for the Saviour and so devoted to his service.

There were 15 of these young evangelists in total and then there were two of us old warriors on Queen Street last evening and God did a work in my heart, if none others were blessed I was!

1 Samuel 10:26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.

Amen, praise the Lord. I shed tears of happiness reading this. We saw your heart for the Lord and It is never a surprise to us that God will bless you.

In addition to that new band of recruits, I would like to report to you that another new band of around 12 youth is forming up and will do its very first letter-boxing in a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, today.

We started youth night every Friday (forthnightly) late November last year. The local church is not very supportive, nor interested. But by the grace of God, we do it anyway having your Bible Club and street preaching as our pattern and guide.

    All glory to God.

    • Amen brother keep going for Jesus! Show them the way to walk in the Saviour’s steps.
Tell them that we shall be conformed to the image of Christ therefore act as if you
have put on the new man and quit you like men.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness
      and true holiness.

  2. First letterboxing was a success by the grace of God. Ten church adults surprisingly joined. Church building was jammed packed the following Sunday.
I don’t know where God will take us to, but I thank and praise God for the example of a selfless service to Him, he showed to us through your life and ministry.

Our few months of fellowship with you seem to be everything for us to understand why we are Christians. A blessing me and Candy counted as the most precious, more than anything else.
    God bless you all.

    • Brother you need to praise God that he opened your eyes to his potential in you. We are nothing special but our God is.

Praise him for all that has befallen Adelaide by his grace. We continue to pray for all of you.
